REIKI I & II CERTIFICATION

“REI” means unity consciousness. “KI” or QI, PRANA, or CHI, is energy.

Reiki means universal life force energy.

Reiki is a Japanese word for sacred or spiritual energy healing.

During a Reiki healing, the practitioner uses a gentle touch, near contact, or intention from a distance to tap into, guide, and channel the energy with the chakras, meridians, nadis, and the subtle energy body. To help remove energy blocks, build up energy within your body, and heal the body simultaneously. This technique can be used for stress reduction, relaxation and a way to promote healing on every level: emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

Donna Lakes (Devraj) is trained in classic Usui Master Reiki. Through the years, Spirit instructed her to change and add a few things creating New Paradigm Reiki. 

While teaching, Devraj and her trained teaching staff distinguish the difference between traditional Usui Master Reiki and the New Paradigm Reiki. Blending the old with the new. One of the major distinguishes is learning to read the Akashic Records of a person while balancing their chakras. In class, students are encouraged to speak any messages they receive while practicing Reiki. 

Our Reiki will teach you grounding, connecting, protecting, and clearing techniques as well as the code of ethics of a healer and a few more specifics. While keeping the integrity of the ancient art of Reiki and modernizing it to our society today, you'll become a conduit for God's Consciousness Energy. 

Reiki is a technique based on the unseen life force energy that flows through everything, if a person's life force energy is low they can become more likely to get sick and feel stress. Reiki promotes relaxation, stress reduction, symptom relief, and can ease you into a meditative state to allow natural relief of pain and tension. Reiki can help boost your immune system. Reiki can help you heal on all levels: emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically.

Most of the time, Reiki is performed on a massage table (fully clothed), but sometimes it can be done in a chair or from a distance. A practitioner will use various hand positions over the body to direct the Reiki energy. 

The timing of each hand position is determined intuitively by the practitioner based on the energy they perceive flowing in each chakra point and throughout the body. A gentle touch is the most direct contact ever applied in reiki. There is no massage or pressure, or manipulation of the body whatsoever. 

Reiki itself might feel like relaxation. You could feel sensations of tingly, warm, or cool, static electricity, pulsing or vibrational waves.

It's different for every person but considered subtle energy, so the effects, while very noticeable for some individuals, are often felt more subtly but profoundly in others. You might find you have an emotional release or feel light and joyful afterward. You might be tired or energized. Your experiences will be completely unique to you since Reiki works where it's needed most in each person.

You may notice sensations in various parts of the body as the energy flows through and begins to clear the energetic blocks and promote healing in places where you maybe didn't even know you were holding tension. Emotional clearing is very common. 

There is nothing you need to do prior to receiving Reiki, but in order to understand how to work with Reiki energy, you will need to study under a Reiki Master who can attune you to hold space and channel Reiki energy as practitioner. The Healing Art of Reiki Healing is handed down in Levels 1,2,3 and 4 to give you time to learn, attune, practice and understand each level of the practice before learning the next level and becoming a Reiki Master yourself. We attune Levels 1 and 2 together, and 3 and 4 together in two separate training courses.

You can attend from anywhere in the world with our live attendance online courses or come in person.
